The Vicinal Discovery Centre.
You'will see there the oldest surviving light railway steam locomotive in Belgium, many electric tramcars built between 1898 and 1957, including the famous PCC-car nicknamed "boat-tram", diesel-motor trams, passenger carriages, goods wagons, a tower truck and many other relics from different periods, all faithfully restored. You'll also look at a vast range of photographs, drawings, destination signs, thematic show-cases and dioramas retracing the long history of the vicinal.
After a break at the bar, you'll visit our shop, and then, according to the calendar, you'll embark on an unforgettable tram ride that takes you to Thuin Ville Basse, Lobbes and Biesme-sous-Thuin, as was the time of vicinal.
